Plots

  Major plots typically take place in the astralverse. A couple of them involve planetary retrogrades corrupting a couple of the signs and impacting the kids. The Big Bad long-running plot involves a reborn enemy of the astralverse

  Minor plots are typically in the human realm and often tackle real-life issues such as grief, loss, questioning identity, relationships, etc. Some examples of the heavier themes: Aiden experiences a miniature identity crisis when he realises his feelings for someone; Jonah deals with the death of his grandmother; Prue loses herself when her parents divorce; Amir's writing helps the star quarterback come out as gay; Kristen forms a tight bond with a terminally-ill classmate; Delores is revealed to have been struggling with depression; Amanda confronts her deadbeat father.

 

  On the lighter side: a young family member of the team follows Zody into the astralverse; some of the kids meet a teen sensation and find out it's not all it's cracked up to be; Amir & Avery get into mischief and all but out the feelings between Zody & Aiden; Loren (astral Virgo) tricks one of the kids to stay in the astralverse for company; Zody & Aiden write a great fantasy story for English class, inspiring jealousy from Amir.
